“PROTECTION OF PATENT AND COPYRIGHT IN INDIA”


Creativity and innovative ideas have been the drivers of development in every field from agriculture to space. There’s a crucial step any inventor or artist should take before taking it to market - protecting it with a patent, trademark, or copyright from the government. At the outbreak of COVID 19, the focus towards self-development is very much essential both physically and mentally. So this Webinar was aimed to clarify various concepts of patent and copyright beneficial for both faculty members and students to strengthen the drivers of research innovations.

Amity School of Applied Sciences, Lucknow Campus organized Webinar on “Protection of patent and copyright in India” on 26 May 2020. The speaker Dr. Shashi Rana, Consultant, PatentMinder and Former Joint Director, Council of Science and Technology, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow gave a through talk on various issues related to patent and copyright. Prof. (Dr.) Asita Kulshreshtha, Head of the Institution, chaired the session. Dr. Sangeeta Bajpai was the faculty coordinator. The participation of faculty members and students graced the Webinar.
