Amity School of Communication Enhancement & Transformation (ASCENT), Amity University Lucknow Campus, organised a five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) from 28th April to 2nd May 2025. The FDP was designed for educators eager to transform their classrooms with cutting-edge technology. Participants explored the latest Al applications in education, learned to integrate digital tools that enhance engagement and developed practical strategies for creating interactive learning environments. Through hands-on activities, collaborative discussions and real-world demonstrations, teachers learned to innovate lesson planning, adapt teaching practices to incorporate Al, and foster dynamic instructional practices that drive academic success.

Dr. Cassie DeFillipo, EL-Fellow (a program of the U.S. Department of State), was the resource person. She is a seasoned educator with over 15 years of international teaching experience specializing in English instruction, academic writing, and innovative pedagogy. She has taught in diverse settings across Ghana, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, and India.
