A guest lecture titled “From Idea to Investment: Understanding Investment, Venture Capital & Start-up Funding Opportunities” was organized by the Amity College of Commerce (ACC), Amity University Haryana, on 31 August 2026 at the B-Block Auditorium. The session aimed to enhance students’ understanding of investment, venture capital, start-up funding, and the financial aspects of entrepreneurship.
The lecture focused on how entrepreneurial ideas can be transformed into viable and investment-ready ventures through proper planning, financial assessment, market understanding, and strategic execution. Students gained insights into different funding sources, venture capital, investor expectations, financial planning, scalability, business models, and the factors considered while evaluating start-up opportunities.
The session also encouraged entrepreneurial thinking, leadership, communication, critical thinking, and responsible financial decision-making. Through expert interaction and discussion, students developed greater awareness of the start-up funding ecosystem and the practical considerations involved in converting innovative ideas into sustainable business ventures.
