A Guest Lecture on “Artificial Intelligence (AI)- The Future of Business Automation and Intelligence” was organised by ABS on 11th September 2026. The session provided students with insights into the development and practical applications of Artificial Intelligence in the modern business environment.
The expert session titled “Artificial Intelligence (AI) – The Future of Business Automation and Intelligence” aimed to familiarise students with the fundamental concepts, evolution, major branches, and applications of Artificial Intelligence. Addressed by Mr. Rupom Chakraborty, Director – Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Dell Technologies, the session sought to explain Machine Learning and its types—Supervised, Unsupervised, and Reinforcement Learning—and highlight the growing relevance of AI in business automation, intelligence, and decision-making.
Mr. Rupom Chakraborty explained the major branches of AI, including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Robotics, while highlighting how Machine Learning enables computers to learn from data and solve problems. The session enhanced students’ understanding of intelligent technologies and their role in improving business automation, information processing, and decision-making.
