About Faculty Enrichment Program (FEP)

Meet the demands of the global economy by exemplifying, and embedding in instruction, the mastery of 21st century skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, collaboration and creativity and innovation. This includes the application of technology to support more robust instructional methods and understanding the relationship between content, pedagogy and technology through dissemination of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPCK) theory and research. Learning is a continuous and never-ending process. It doesn’t stop after earning a degree and at the starting or middle of a career. Through continuing learning, aspiring individuals can constantly improve their skills and become more skillful in their profession. Therefore, it is very important to encourage and enrich the faculty members to pursue and upgrade their professional development not only to ensure the best learning outcomes for their students but also to be more effective and satisfied for their future endeavors and in line with the current market demand.

Objectives of the Faculty Enrichment Program (FEP)

  • To encourage the teachers to become a change agent by adopting 21st century knowledge and skills so that they should be at par with national and global standards.
  • To train teachers to learn the use of technology and practice technology as an effective teaching tool to enhance the use of digital resources in the teaching.
  • To develop the strategic leadership skills, need to empower themselves to take up the responsibility for students and for higher education institutes success.
  • To be able to develop curriculum, and assessment aligned with 21st century.
  • To empower teacher’s fraternity with enhancing knowledge of Innovation research and development.
  • To understand the ability to think critically and creatively, to collaborate with others, communicate clearly and effective with students and also empowers them to lead happier, healthier lives.

Pedagogy

  • The FDP will be highly experiential and interactive with online lectures, discussions, presentations, and activity-based sessions on current developments.
