Amity Law School, AUMP organised a webinar on the topic of ‘Introduction to Intellectual Property Rights/ Patent Process’ in association with Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Intellectual Property Management (RGNIIPM) and Office of Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks(CGPDTM) on 11.09.2020 from 12:15 pm to 01:10 pm.
Mrs. Pooja Vishal Maulikar, Examiner of Patents & Designs was the speaker of the webinar who gave a brief overview of the various kinds of Intellectual Properties along with practical examples. The speaker also explained the modes and methods of filing various application along with the fee for the same. The presenation by the speaker was follwed by a question and answer session.
It was a very informative session that introduced the students to the world of Intellectual Property rights and its benefits in which about 218 students and faculty members participated. The faculty co-ordinators for the event were Dr. Krati Rajoria and Dr. Pramod Kumar. Mr. Swapnil Agrawal was the students co-ordinator. It was conducted under the guidance of Maj. Gen. Rajinder Kumar, Director, ALS and Prof. (Dr.) Rakhi Singh Chouhan, HOD, ALS.
