The workshop on Styling organized by Amity School of Fashion Design and Technology provided students with practical exposure to the principles and techniques of personal styling, grooming, and image enhancement. The session was conducted by Ms. Muskan Sharma, a freelance artist, who shared valuable industry-oriented insights and practical demonstrations.
The workshop outcomes were highly beneficial for students as they gained knowledge about the role of styling in creating an individual’s overall appearance and personality. Participants learned the importance of selecting suitable accessories and jewelry according to different face shapes and personal features. Practical demonstrations on hair styling and haircut variations helped students understand how hairstyles can transform and enhance a person's look. In addition, students received guidance on minimal and casual makeup techniques suitable for everyday and professional settings.
The session also encouraged students to develop an understanding of styling as a creative and professional domain within the fashion industry. The interactive discussions and demonstrations enhanced their observational skills, creativity, and confidence in applying styling concepts. Overall, the workshop successfully bridged theoretical understanding with practical application and contributed to students’ professional learning and skill development in the field of fashion and styling.
