Aim
This seminar aims to highlight the recent advancements, challenges, and emerging opportunities in herbal medicine research, with a special emphasis on herbal pharmacology, phytochemistry, scientific validation, industrial applications, and sustainable utilization of medicinal plants. Experts from academia, research institutions, and the pharmaceutical industry will share their insights on the standardization, quality control, innovation, and commercialization of herbal medicines and natural products.
Objectives
· Promote research in herbal pharmacology and phytochemistry
· Encourage industry-academia collaboration
· Enhance awareness on standardization and regulatory aspects
· Provide exposure to modern research tools such as molecular docking and nanotechnology

The event began with a lightening of lamp and saraswati vandana by the dignitaries. The program was initiated with the welcome address by Prof. Dr. R. S. Tomar (Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor) followed by word of wisdom by Lt. General V. K. Sharma, (AVSM), (Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor), AUMP. The Chief Guest, Dr. Brijesh Singh Sisodia, Assistant Director & Institute In-charge, Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, CCRAS, Gwalior, delivered an insightful address highlighting the significance of traditional medicinal systems and their relevance in modern healthcare. She emphasized the need for scientific validation and standardization of herbal medicines to ensure their global acceptance and therapeutic efficacy.
The keynote speaker, Dr. Avinash Narwariya, Consultant, Ambe Phytoextracts Pvt. Ltd., shared valuable insights into the industrial applications of herbal products, focusing on phytopharmaceutical development, quality assurance, and commercialization challenges.
The online keynote session by Dr. Subramani Parasuraman, AIMST University, Malaysia, provided a comprehensive perspective on recent advancements in pharmacology and natural product research, highlighting innovative approaches including molecular docking and modern drug discovery techniques.
The seminar was effectively coordinated by the organizing team under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar Mishra, Director and Chairman ,Prof. (Dr.) Mukesh Singh Sikarwar, Deputy Director and Organizing Secretory, Dr. Zeba Siddiqui, Associate Professor, AIP, Dr. Narender Kumar, Assistant Professor and Dr. Purna Chandra Pal , Assistant Professor, Amity Institute of Pharmacy.
