Details of the Programme

The Amity Institute of Pharmacy (AIP), Amity University Madhya Pradesh, organized a Guest Lecture on “Nanotheranostics: Next-Generation Innovation for Precision Cancer Therapy and Real-Time Diagnostics” on 15th April 2026 at the Seminar Hall, Block C, AUMP. The event brought together academicians, researchers, faculty members, and students to explore recent advancements in nanotechnology-driven approaches for cancer diagnosis and treatment.

The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana by the dignitaries, symbolizing the pursuit of knowledge, innovation, and scientific excellence. The event was formally inaugurated with a welcome address delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar Mishra, Director, AIP, who emphasized the importance of emerging technologies in transforming healthcare and pharmaceutical sciences.

The Guest Lecture was organized on the theme “Nanotheranostics: Next-Generation Innovation for Precision Cancer Therapy and Real-Time Diagnostics.” The keynote session was delivered by Dr. Ashish Kumar Parashar, who provided an insightful overview of Nanotheranostics and its role in integrating diagnostic and therapeutic functions into a single platform. He discussed the application of nanoparticles, nanocarriers, targeted drug delivery systems, and advanced imaging technologies for precision cancer therapy. The lecture also highlighted recent innovations in real-time diagnostics, biomarker detection, personalized medicine, and smart therapeutic systems aimed at improving treatment efficacy while minimizing adverse effects.

The session offered participants a comprehensive understanding of the potential of Nanotheranostics platforms in revolutionizing cancer management through early detection, targeted treatment, and continuous monitoring of therapeutic outcomes. The speaker also addressed current challenges, translational opportunities, regulatory considerations, and future prospects in the field of nanomedicine and oncology research.

Following the lecture, the speaker was felicitated in recognition of his valuable contribution and expertise. The program concluded with closing remarks delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Mukesh Singh Sikarwar, Deputy Director, AIP, who appreciated the speaker for sharing his knowledge and encouraged students and faculty members to actively engage in interdisciplinary research and innovation.

A formal vote of thanks was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Ram Babu Tripathi, Professor and Head, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, AIP, expressing gratitude to the guest speaker, university administration, faculty members, and participants for making the event a success. The program concluded with a group photograph followed by a Green Initiative Plantation Ceremony at the Herbal Garden, Block C, promoting environmental sustainability and institutional commitment toward ecological responsibility.

The event served as an excellent platform for knowledge dissemination, scientific discussion, and academic interaction, inspiring participants to explore innovative research avenues in nanotechnology and precision medicine.

The event was successfully coordinated by Prof. (Dr.) Ram Babu Tripathi, Professor and Head, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, AIP, and Mr. Bharath K. S., Assistant Professor, AIP.

The program was aligned with UN SDG-3 (Good Health and Well-Being), UN SDG-4 (Quality Education), UN SDG-9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), and UN SDG-17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by promoting advanced healthcare research, scientific innovation, quality education, and collaborative knowledge exchange.
