The program was conducted as part of the Amity University Madhya Pradesh commitment to community service, geriatric healthcare awareness, and public health promotion. Faculty members and students actively participated in the event and interacted with senior citizens to educate them on various aspects of personal health, hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention.

During the program, awareness sessions were conducted on personal hygiene, environmental sanitation, safe drinking water, proper waste disposal, prevention of communicable diseases, and the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy living environment. The elderly residents were sensitized to the significance of regular handwashing, hygienic food practices, medication adherence, and the adoption of healthy lifestyle habits to prevent common age-related illnesses. Special emphasis was placed on balanced nutrition, age-specific dietary requirements, adequate hydration, physical activity, mental well-being, and the prevention of nutritional deficiencies through the consumption of nutritious and readily available foods. As part of the outreach initiative, essential food items and fresh fruits were distributed among the residents to support their nutritional needs and encourage healthy dietary practices. The distribution highlighted the importance of nutrient-rich foods in maintaining overall health, strengthening immunity, and improving the quality of life of senior citizens.

The outreach team also addressed various health-related concerns raised by the participants and encouraged them to undergo regular health check-ups, seek timely medical consultation, adhere to prescribed medications, and adopt preventive healthcare measures. The program received enthusiastic participation from both the residents and staff of Mangal Dham Old Age Home and served as an effective platform for disseminating essential health information.
