Industry-oriented curriculum and research-based teaching pedagogy are the two fundamental principles that governs the teaching-learning practices here at ASAP. Its teaching program aims to build thoughtful professionals that can cater to the industry demand without losing the sensitivity towards environment & sustainability.
Established in 2011, ASAP comprises of two faculties-Faculty of Architecture and Faculty of Interior Design. The Faculty of Architecture focuses on understanding, designing, planning, constructing and managing human habitats, while the Faculty of Interior Design focuses on the design of private realm, interiors and crafts.
ASAP believes in training designers in theoretical as well as practical problem-solving and developing their design thinking. Experts from the industry of national and international repute, trained teachers and experts from various other design disciplines together teach at ASAP. Focusing on the application-based approach, the entire curriculum has been designed in a concentric manner. The design studio acts as the centre in which all the theory and skill-oriented knowledge are gathered, culminated into design exercises and this gives student an opportunity to question everything and further innovate. The carefully designed exercises find their basis in real issues that associate with our built environment, in order to develop observational and creative skills in the students.

Students are encouraged to take part in national and international design competitions, inter-college activities and even launch their own events. A plethora of webinars, expert lectures and workshops, leaves no stone unturned in grooming of the students. Through internships at the most coveted architectural firms in the world and association with professional bodies like IIA, IIID, etc., students are encouraged to build up their professional career along with their studies.
