Together with visiting architects from the profession as design critics from all around the world, architecture faculty and students explore a range of design interpretations, enhance knowledge, and become ready to confront the challenges of the contemporary built environment. Collaborative projects with other institutes in architecture keeps the Sky-Bridge studio active at ASAP, Amity University Rajasthan (AUR).

ASAP’s philosophy in Architecture integrates the imaginative and skillful manipulation of built form based on broad pool of technical knowledge to mitigate the present-time issues concerning sustainable development. The architecture curriculum includes design studio, theory, visual studies, history, technology, and professional practice, with design as the central focus of instruction.

With emerging trends in the profession of architecture, the field grows increasingly complex and requires new techniques of inquiry and design. ASAP graduates are industry ready with developed expertise in BIM, Bionic Architecture, Virtual Reality along with sensitivity to Heritage, Energy conservation and Sustainability. Within a decade, ASAP has prepared committed professionals who have assumed leadership roles in shaping the built environment of India and abroad.

Climate Change and Future of Jaipur, India

With global warming and climate change, urban areas like Jaipur that are on the edge of sensitive eco-system of hot and dry climatic zone, require specialized approach in architecture and urban design.

ASAP students have worked on Urban design projects in and around Jaipur walled city for holistic sustainable solutions preserving heritage and eco-system – Jaleb Chowk.

Emerging trends – Transportation Hubs as new Urban nodes in India

Recent economic developments and globalization has resulted in transformation of travel in India and thereby also the hubs of the transportation networks.

ASAP students took up live projects in Anand Vihar, New Delhi and Ajmer, Rajasthan to new definition for the future Transportation hubs. The exemplary solutions for future won the critics at National Level for transportation hubs and it’s architecture in India.
