Amity School of Communication organised a very enlightening Alumni Master Class on 30th Sept, 2025 dealing with the topic, “The Invisible Playbook: How AI and Digital Influence are Rewriting Corporate Communication and Marketing Trends”. The session was delivered by Mr.Vigish G. Kurup, Senior Internal Communication Specialist, Burns & McDonnell India and Ms. Vania Noreen Scott, Marketing Lead, Global Developer Programs India, Google.

Mr. Vigish G. Kurup, is presently working as Senior Internal Communication Specialist, Burns & McDonnell India (Alumnus-B.A.J&MC-2014-17 Batch), the global engineering, architecture, and construction firm’s India office, where he manages Corporate Communication strategy and execution. He has over 7 years of experience in shaping communication programs that build trust, strengthen employee engagement, and amplify leadership visibility within large organizations. Recognized as the highest individual award recipient at Burns & McDonnell India for consistently delivering communication initiatives that have made measurable business and cultural impact. Conceptualized and launched innovative communication formats, such as a CEO-led audio-video storytelling series, interactive employee campaigns, and branded recognition platforms, that redefined how employees connect with organizational vision. He has successfully leveraged digital tools and AI-enabled insights to tailor communication, measure sentiment, and make strategies more data-driven and relevant. He has led the communication and branding of CSR initiatives in education, health, and environment — showcasing how organizations can blend corporate purpose with employee ownership. Known for creative internal branding of initiatives like career portals, leadership connects, and surveys — which significantly boosted awareness, adoption, and employee participation

Ms. Vania Noreen Scott, Marketing Lead, Global Developer Programs India, Google (Alumnus-B.A.J&MC- 2010-13 Batch) is a creative marketing leader and entrepreneur who has spent over 14 years of experience building and scaling 50+ brands across tech, lifestyle & retail, with expertise in driving growth, storytelling strategies and launching innovative new products for their B2B as well as B2C portfolios. Currently, Vania serves as the Marketing Lead for Global Developer & Startup Programs at Google. Prior to this, she managed partnerships and events at Condé Nast India, where she led major projects such as the Vogue Women of the Year Awards, Top Restaurants Awards, and the AD Design Show. She launched and scaled an eco-conscious brand, setting up all aspects of product design, sales, marketing, and operations. She is also passionate about sustainable living, travel, art, design & culture.

The event was very insightful and beneficial for the students as the participants discussed about every aspect of how the different AI tools, and their resultant functions have greatly streamlined and made the Corporate Communication task more impactful, data-driven and beneficial from the target audience’s point of view.

Mr. Vigish highlighted the different changes taking place in the field of internal and external strategic corporate communication in the present era of highly competitive business scenario. The speaker by citing various apt cases highlighted how AI has enabled brands to stay ahead in the market by having a deep-rooted command over consumer psyche and their sentiments. Ms. Vania uncovered the ways the technology has been like a boon for the marketers to conceptualise and curate their marketing strategies and campaigns with a more targeted approach and finesse. The speaker drew attention towards the fact that AI Tools with their detail customer analytical data and predictive analysis of customer behaviour and their online journey have given wings to the marketers to reach out to their target audience with more personalized recommendations and in a better and more innovative manner.
