Aim & Objective of the Program

Pharma Anveshan 2026 is an academic and research-oriented event organized to align with the annual theme announced by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). The event aims to promote scientific inquiry, innovation, and awareness among pharmacy students and faculty by integrating expert knowledge with student-driven academic activities.
Objectives
· Enhances awareness of national priorities in pharmaceutical education and research.
· Encourages research culture, creativity, and critical thinking among students.
· Provides exposure to expert perspectives and real-world applications.
· Improves communication, presentation, and scientific writing skills.
The event began with a lightening of lamp and saraswati vandana by the dignitaries. The program was initiated with the welcome address by Prof. Dr. R. S. Tomar (Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor) followed by word of wisdom by Lt. General V. K. Sharma, (AVSM), (Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor), AUMP. The Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Suman Jain, (Director SOS, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Jiwaji University, Gwalior) delivered a poignant address reflecting on the foundational roots of the profession. She paid tribute to Acharya M.L. Schroff, the "Father of Pharmacy Education in India," reminding the audience that the current advancements in the field stand on the shoulders of his pioneering contributions and vision. Dr. Sudhir Bharadwaj (Member, Education Regulation Committee, MP State Pharmacy Council) shifted the focus to the future, placing significant emphasis on the core theme of Anveshan. He motivated the attendees to integrate the spirit of inquiry into every aspect of their lives, encouraging a mindset of constant exploration, innovation, and self-improvement. The guest lecture was delivered by Dr. G. M. Kannan, Scientist ‘F’, Defence Research & Development Establishment (DRDE), Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, on the topic “Drug Development: An Overview”. The alumni guest speaker, Ms. Nandini Dipti, (Regulatory Affairs Associate, DDReg Pharma Pvt. Ltd.) delivered the online talk (MS-Team) on the topic “Career in Regulatory Affairs in the Pharmaceutical Industry”. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Jovita Kanoujia, Mr. Talevar Singh, and Dr. Wasim Akram. The program organized under the leadership of Dr. Manoj Kumar Mishra, Director and Principal and Prof. Dr. Mukesh Singh Sikarwar, Deputy Director, AIP. The event was aligned with UN SDG-3 (Good Health and Well Being), UN SDG-4 (Quality Education) and SDG-9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and was supported by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).
