Amity institute of education has organized Sports Meet Umang 2024 for school students of Ben-Hur public school, Malhour. Umang 2024 is an endeavour to strengthen our bond with the schools thereby enhancing Industry-Academia Relations. The objectives of organizing these events as part of teacher training program is to provide opportunities for experiential learning and promote development of cognitive, affective and psychomotor domain of pupil teachers as well as school students.
The event has helped pupil teachers to enhance their planning, organization and management skills. Sports activities help in nurturing healthy competition, spirts of teamwork, realizing the importance of physical fitness, develop social and emotional skills and intelligence besides inculcating confidence, zeal and enthusiasm for life along with fun and recreation. Wg. Cdr. Anil Kumar (Retd.), Dy. Pro. VC, AUUP, Lko, Prof. Dr. Rajesh Tiwari, Dean Academics, Prof. Dr. Manoj Joshi, Director Centre for VUCA Studies, Mr. Sudhanshu Yadav has graced the event with their presence throughout the event. Faculty and students of AIE and teachers from school were also present in the event.
