Description: In this drawing, I am trying to portray the people's mindset in depressive state. They become vulnerable and sensitive to people’s negative reactions. The faces under the hair represent the negative words that get stuck to a depressed mind. The countless strands of hair represent the harsh words impacting the mind causing more and more anxiety. The grayish background represents life without color. The white spots represent the stains in life.

Description: A landscape is the visible features of an area of land, its landforms, and how they integrate with natural or man-made features. This particular landscape was made by using watercolors which were perfect to make this beautiful scenery. Watercolors are painted by colors which are made up of pigments suspended in a water-based solution. I tried to show the freshness of the trees and give it a realistic look.

Description:  Nature does not need any human help to present its beauty. Vegetal life can grow anywhere and quickly fill the empty spaces abandoned by us. Plants have the power of being able to beautify and revive any place and that is what I aim to reflect through my artwork. Something as ordinary as a flight of stairs can look like a passage to the world unknown if it has a vine running up its handrails. It is easy for the colors of plants to dominate other aspects of its beauty; as reflected in my work, beauty is found not only in colors but in shapes and lines. Even a simple potted plant can add life to a previously dull room. Plants can help one reflect on the life within oneself which makes one feel content and joyful despite the troubles and banalities of life. In addition to this, a fascinating fact about plant life is that even if no two leaves on the same plant are similar, it does not lose their harmony and if for instance, all leaves are identical, it does not become an uninteresting sight to look at. This is the magic that I have tried to capture in my drawings.
