The Department of Physics at Amity School of Applied Sciences (ASAS) organized a vibrant celebration for National Science Day 2024, held online on February 28th. Led by Prof. Ambika Devi and Prof. Jyotsna Sharma, the event aimed to commemorate the Raman Effect while promoting environmental consciousness. Through engaging activities like a poster-making competition and a photography contest, students demonstrated their creativity and dedication to environmental conservation.
The overarching theme "Save Earth" underscored the importance of sustainability and resonated deeply with participants. With active participation from students pursuing MSc Applied Physics and MA Political Science, the event not only celebrated scientific achievement but also encouraged a deeper understanding of environmental issues. By fostering scientific spirit and raising awareness about environmental stewardship, the celebration exemplified Amity's commitment to holistic education and its role in nurturing socially responsible citizens.
