A Society Outreach Program was organised by AMS on 3rd June 2025. It sought to educate the public on the importance of hearing health, while offering hands-on clinical exposure to BASLP students, thereby integrating academic learning with meaningful community outreach.
The Hearing Health Check-up Camp aimed to promote early identification and timely intervention for speech and hearing disorders among the local community, in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being.
The camp successfully addressed the objectives of screening, educating, and intervening in hearing-related concerns within the community. Through the collaborative efforts of Amity Medical School and the Sound 2030 Project, the initiative provided early diagnostic support—especially to geriatric individuals—using pure-tone audiometry and speech screenings.
