A Student Activity was organised by ASLA on 28^th August 2025. The session not only deepened students’ understanding of feminist history but also encouraged them to approach academic and social discussions with confidence, awareness, and inclusivity.

The aim of the event “Voices of Martyrdom: Resistance and Sacrifice in Nation Building” was to engage students in exploring the significant role of women in resistance movements across the world and to highlight their sacrifices in the broader context of nation building. It sought to inspire students to connect historical feminist struggles with modern-day perspectives, while also fostering values of patriotism, gender equality, and social responsibility.

The event concluded successfully with impactful presentations that shed light on the contributions of women in resistance movements and their pivotal role in shaping nations. The judges provided valuable feedback on presentation skills, including slide design, oral delivery, confidence, and pacing, while also emphasizing the importance of content and holistic viewpoints.
