3 Days Online Workshop on “GNU Octave”

General Introduction
GNU Octave is an open source software similar to MATLAB. The workshop was for the beginners and aimed to introduce the students and the faculties to the open source software and teach them basic commands of GNU Octave. More than 65 participants from various regions of India had participated in the workshop. The participants were motivated to use open source software wherever possible.
Objective of the Event
- To teach basic commands of GNU Octave.
- To create awareness about opensource alternative to MATLAB.
