Shape Changing Aero-spike Nozzle

 Mr. Palrecha Jainam Mangesh and Mr. Mohammed Faizan Mohammed Ilyas Shaikh from B. Tech. Aerospace Sem 8 has created a CAD model of Aerospike rocket engine. This type of rocket engine maintains its aerodynamic efficiency across a wide range of altitudes. The shape is altered to suit the fuel pumping required at different altitudes. Figure shows the CAD model of shape changing Aero-spike Nozzle. This type of design optimizes the air flow and improves aerospace engine performance.
