Amity School of Liberal Arts, Amity University Gurugram invited the resource person Dr. Anil Kumar Singh, Head (Greek Chair) School of Language, Literature and Culture Studies, JNU New Delhi.

He delivered a talk on the topic India in Ancient Greek Literature.The objective of the Webinar “India in Ancient Greek Literature” was to look deeper into the thoughts and ideas of two great civilizations of India and Greece. It also focuses on the significant contribution to the field of Indo-Greek studies by eminent scholars. It was attended by 89 students and 10 faculties.

The event developed an understanding of Greek literature and how it influenced Indian culture and literature. This was also to explore the different aspects of such ancient literature and its strong association with Indian literature work.
