Amity Institute of Pharmacy organized online lecture on Immuno-boosting as a logical strategy to deal with COVID-19 by Prof. Prashant S. Kharkar, Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai, Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology, ICT, Mumbai, Medicinal Chemistry.Total 40 students from pharmacy department and 9 faculties attended the webinar.

The main objective of the event is to impart learning and Knowledge of working and function of Immune system in human body.

Prof. Prashant S. Kharkar talk emphasized the complex mechanism of functioning of human immune system, various biomarkers involved in COVID-19 disease. How does body reacts with the COVID-19 infection, how does the innate and adaptive immunity works in unison and the role of diet and life style in the expression of immune response. Students learnt about the working and role of  immune system in human body and how to boost it.
