Amity School of Applied Sciences, Amity University Haryana in collaboration with University of Bengkulu, Indonesia organized an international workshop on Instrumentation Techniques” which had a runtime of two days 17-18 January 2022.It was graced by two experts Dr. Sal Prima Yudha ,PI Department of Chemistry, University of Bengkulu and Dr. Mohammed Abid, Assistant Professor, Jamia Milia Islamia.
The session began with the welcome address by Prof A.K. Yadav (HOI, ASAS,AUH). Dr. Jarulis, Dean of Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science, University of Bengkulu, Indonesia addressed the participants. A brief introduction of speakers : Dr. Sal Prima Yudha (Faculty, University of Bengkulu, Indonesia) and Dr. Mohammad Abid (Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi) was given. The session was coordinated by the Moderator Dr. Anurag Sharma and well supported by Prof. Seema R. Pathak (HOD, CBFS, ASAS, AUH) and faculty members of CBFS,ASAS, AUH.
The day's workshop was split into two parts: a lesson and a live demonstration. The tutorial begins with a fundamental overview of UV-Vis spectroscopy, its application in various fields, and the underlying operating principle. UV-Vis Spectroscopy is non-invasive, cost-effective, sensitive, and adaptable. The energy of a wave of a particular radiation is calculated by using the relation E=hc/λ
Session ended with the thank you note from Prof. Seema R. Pathak and Prof. A.K. Yadav.
Total 89 students attended the session.
