Amity School of Liberal Arts, Amity University Gurugram organised a poster making competition on the theme “Celebrating the Success of Chandrayaan 3”, on 22nd September, 2023. The posters were prominently displayed during the program, offering a platform for others to view and appreciate the artistic expressions inspired by Chandrayaan 3's achievements. The event was been coordinated by Dr Shradhnavita Singh and Dr Supriya Sanju.
More than 20 captivating posters related to Chandrayaan 3 were created by students, showcasing their artistic skills and interpretations of the mission's success. These posters were crafted both digitally and manually, adding a variety of artistic perspectives to the exhibition. Dr. Rakesh Kumar Choudhary, Head of the Amity School of Fine Arts, served as a judge for the event. His expertise and insights provided valuable feedback to the participants, helping them understand how to enhance their artistic creations. Six participants, three in the digital category and three in the manual category, were selected for awards, acknowledging their exceptional contributions. A total of 35 students and 10 faculty members participated in the event.
In conclusion, the poster competition successfully combined art and science, providing students with an exceptional learning experience and an opportunity to express their pride in India's space achievement. It underscored the importance of celebrating such milestones in innovative and artistic ways, enriching the cultural and educational landscape.
