The Corporate Resource Center organized an industry visit on December 13, 2022. Mr Shiv Swaroop Jha AUH arranged and oversaw the visit in coordination with Corporate Resource Center. Students from the fifth semester of B.Com (Hons) went to the visit Dr. Vaibhav Kaushik, an assistant professor, will be in charge. This industrial visit was held to raise awareness of how a company operates and to gain a general understanding of the manufacturing processes and technological breakthroughs in today's cutthroat marketplace. A well-known brand in the electrical appliance industry is Haier. We were conversing with the production head of the firm and his or her staff, including Mr. Manendar and Ms. Nisheetha.
When we arrived, we were given a brief introduction to the business Haier Appliances India Pvt Ltd. The brands that Haier has purchased throughout the years were featured in the introduction, and a few well-known names were emphasised, including General Electronics, Aqua (Japanese Brand), etc. Further mentioned was the company's key tenet that every appliance should be intelligent (means connected through internet). In this talk, the development Haier has made over the past 15 years as the leading brand was illustrated through images and video.
After that, a number of items were presented to us along with their demonstrations. Finally, we visited the refrigerator production facility where the entire process—from the creation of the exterior body through packaging—was demonstrated. This visit was highly instructive and useful for understanding how a factory operates and how each created product is verified several times before being packaged and sent to retail locations. Through this factory tour, students learned about the production procedures for the everyday items they use on a daily basis, raising their knowledge of the technological advancements occurring in factories run by companies like Haier.
