An Alumni Interaction with Freshers was organised by ASAP on 7th August 2026. The aim of the Alumni Interaction was to establish an early Alumni–Student connection with first-semester students of B.Arch and Interior Design and provide them with practical insights into the Interior Design industry.
The session aimed to help students understand the transition from academic life to professional practice, gain awareness of industry expectations and challenges, and connect their academic learning with future career opportunities. The Alumni Interaction with Mr. Apurv Jain, an alumnus of the Interior Design programme at Amity and the founder of Fly and Float, provided freshers with valuable insights into the realities of professional practice. He shared his experiences as an Interior Design student and explained how his academic learning contributed to his professional development. His discussion on transitioning from student life to the industry, along with practical experiences from residential and corporate projects, helped students understand professional expectations and challenges.
Overall, the interaction provided students with an early understanding of the professional environment and helped them connect their academic journey with future career possibilities.
