Anti-Ragging Awareness Programme was organised by ALS on 12th August 2026.The Anti-Ragging Pledge reinforced the students’ commitment towards maintaining dignity, safety and mutual respect.
The aim of the Anti-Ragging Awareness Programme was to sensitise students about the meaning, forms and harmful consequences of ragging, while creating awareness regarding its legal and disciplinary implications. The programme aimed to promote dignity, mutual respect, empathy and responsible behaviour among students and encourage them to actively speak up against ragging, report incidents without fear, and contribute towards maintaining a safe, inclusive and ragging-free campus environment.
The Anti-Ragging Awareness Programme successfully sensitised students about the harmful effects and legal and disciplinary consequences of ragging. The address by Dr. Pranshul Pathak emphasised the importance of discipline, responsibility and adherence to institutional rules, while the student-led skit effectively highlighted the adverse impact of ragging on students and the academic environment. Dr. Santosh Tripathi further encouraged students to speak up and report instances of ragging, while the Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Ajay Bhatt, Director, Amity Law School, acknowledged the contribution of all dignitaries, faculty members and students. Overall, the programme strengthened awareness and encouraged collective responsibility towards fostering a safe, respectful, inclusive and ragging-free campus.
