A Guest Lecture: Alumnus visit in Orientation 2026 was organised by AIB on 6th August 2026.The aim of the event was to provide freshers with an opportunity to interact with successful alumni and learn from their academic and professional experiences.
The session aimed to help students gain insights into career opportunities, corporate expectations, workplace communication, networking, and skill development. It also sought to bridge the gap between academic life and the professional world by exposing students to real-world experiences and strategies for long-term career growth.
The interaction with alumni Dr. Deepak Kumar, Zonal Head–BD at Eurofins Food and Feed Testing India and a successful PhD Biotechnology alumnus of AIB, and Mr. Manas Mishra, Patent Analyst at Sagacious Elevate and a successful BTech Biotechnology alumnus of AIB, provided freshers with valuable insights into their career journeys and corporate experiences. Their experiences and guidance helped students gain a clearer understanding of professional opportunities, including career paths beyond Biotechnology, as well as the processes involved in preparing for and entering the corporate world in India and abroad. The session encouraged students to focus on skill development, effective communication, networking, and professional growth, thereby helping them prepare more confidently for their future careers.
