The Five – Day FDP on, “Teaching & Learning in the Digital Age: Innovations in Social Sciences and Humanities” was hosted by Prof (Dr) Dipa Chakrabarti, Head, Amity School of Languages. The event was organised through online mode. Prof Chakrabarti introduced the speakers to the audience. Speaker of the first day i.e., 21st April, was Prof Dilip Barad from MK Bhavnagar University, Gujarat. Prof Barad shared his insights on the significance of Digital Portfolio in the current times. The second day was taken up by Prof Sushant Kumar Mishra, Professor & Dean School of Languages & Literature/ Humanities. Prof Mishra shared about humanities on crossroads. Prof K Srinivas, head, ICT, NIEPA, New Delhi discussed in detail about treating AI as Co – Pilot. Prof Priyanka Tripathi, Associate Professor, IIT – Patna, joined her session from UK. She talked about the data and the interpretation of data in emerging trends of humanities. The last day, 25th April session was taken up by Prof Nandini Sahu, Vice – Chancellor, Hindi University. Prof Sahu shared an exhaustive information of NEP 2020, its implementation, challenges etc. The event was successfully coordinated by Prof (Dr) Parul Mishra, and Dr Gunja Patni, Amity School of Languages.
