Students of Amity School of Fashion Technology (ASFT) showcased their exclusive collection, “BANJARA – The Nomadic Spirit,” at Jaipur Times Fashion Week 2026, organized by The Times of India Group at Marriott Hotel, Jaipur on 21st March 2026. The collection was inspired by the rich cultural heritage of the Banjara community and emphasized eco-conscious luxury in Indian ethnic fashion by blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design.
A total of 58 students and 5 faculty members participated, along with dignitaries and industry delegates. The event provided students with valuable exposure to professional fashion platforms, enhancing their creativity, design thinking, and problem-solving skills. It also encouraged collaboration with local artisans, supporting sustainable practices and cultural preservation.
Participants gained practical insights into market trends, backstage management, and event coordination, while strengthening teamwork, communication, and attention to detail, inspiring them toward innovation and entrepreneurial opportunities.
