Francophonie 2025 Celebration & 5-Day International Faculty Development Program on “Didactics of Language, Literature, Translation, and Digital Learning: Selection of Tools and Techniques, and AI Integration in French Classroom”

The 5-Day International Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Didactics of Language, Literature, Translation, and Digital Learning: Selection of Tools and Techniques, and AI Integration in the French Classroom” was successfully held from March 24 to 28, 2025, at Amity School of Languages, Amity University Rajasthan, Jaipur. The event brought together educators and experts to explore innovative teaching methodologies, translation techniques, and the integration of AI in language learning.

The Inaugural Ceremony took place on March 24, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Auditorium, Academic Block A. The session began with a lamp-lighting ceremony, followed by the review of student works on “Je suis francophone, j’écris en français”. Guests were honored, and speeches were given by Prof. (Dr.) Amit Jain, Vice Chancellor, AUR, and Mme. Marine Michel, Attaché for Cooperation for French Language, French Embassy in India. Students from Amity University Rajasthan performed a cultural program. The session ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. Dhiren Paliwal, who expressed gratitude to the guests, participants, and organizers.

The daily sessions were conducted in LT-02, Academic Block A, covering various aspects of language teaching, literature, translation, and digital learning tools. During the five days of FDP following Speakers delivered their sessions on their respective topics:

The Valedictory Ceremony was held on March 28, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at LT-02, Academic Block A. The session commenced with a lamp-lighting ceremony and a report reading by Prof. (Dr.) Dipa Chakrabarti. A video clip showcasing the FDP and Francophonie Celebration 2025 was presented by Ms. Riya Bhargava. The ceremony featured addresses by Prof. (Dr.) G.K. Aseri, Pro Vice Chancellor, AUR, Prof. (Dr.) S.L. Kothari, Vice President, ASTIF, AUR, and Brig. Govind Singh Rathore, Deputy Director General, AUR. Certificates were distributed to participants, followed by feedback sessions from attendees. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Deepak Sharma.

The FDP proved to be an enriching experience, bringing together educators, scholars, and experts who engaged in insightful discussions and workshops on the evolving landscape of French language teaching and AI integration.
