The esteemed speaker of the session was Mr. Anant Mahant, Founder & Director, Infinity PR, Communications & Events. Mr. Anant after completing his Masters joined Microsoft and was part of software testing and development in Gurgaon. Later, he joined Spark PR, Jaipur as an Executive. After 6 years with the guidance of his mentor started his own PR firm, Infinity PR, Communications & Events. Mr. Mahant possesses a vast experience of handling PR for some of the major events in the city both State Government as well as private. Among the larger and prestigious events, he was part of the team of the Jaipur Literature Festival (JLF), Jaipur Jewellery Show (JJS), Resurgent Rajasthan (RR) and the different editions of Global Rajasthan Agri-tech Meet (GRAM). He has handled the Political Campaigning of Princess Diya Kumari in Sawai Madhopur (2013) and Rajasamand (2019), respectively. Some of his prestigious clientele Sony Music, Ibis Hotels, The Royal Family of Jaipur, Jawahar Kala Kendra, State Department of Archaeology & Museums, the Rambagh Palace, Hotel Jaipur Marriott, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), among others.

Another noticeable trend of the Digital era has been the widespread application of various AI Tools which have significantly transformed the practice of PR enabling it to reach out to the stakeholders in the real time in a more appealing and engaging manner. The Guest Lecture also covered the various indispensable AI Tools being used by PR Professionals in their everyday lives and how have they been like game changers in executing a much more effective and stakeholder-oriented PR Approach. The speaker by citing various instances and real-life examples gave valuable insights related all the concepts.

The session was followed by a Quiz conducted by Dr. Tanushri Mukherjee, consisting of some significant questions related to the topic which reflected the student’s learning outcome and made the event more engaging and fruitful. The event concluded by the vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Tanushri Mukherjee. The event was followed by a visit of the ASCo Studio. Dr. Jayati Sharma, Director, ASCo briefed about the infrastructure and the various equipments of the studio and their applications.
