Amity School of Communication (ASCo) organised an engaging guest lecture on “Sports Journalism: Reporting, Digital Storytelling & Career Opportunities” on 19 March 2026.

The resource person, Ms Mandakini Shalya, Senior Digital Content Creator, The Times of India, Jaipur, highlighted contemporary trends in sports journalism, including the use of artificial intelligence and outlined emerging career opportunities in the field.

As part of the highly interactive session, students were given a brief scorecard of an IPL game and asked to prepare a match report, following which detailed feedback was provided by the speaker. The event was coordinated by Dr Ankit Kumar Singh, Assistant Professor, ASCo.
