Contours of Intellectual Property Rights: Legal Framework, Enforcement and Emerging Challenges

Events
Amity Law School, in collaboration with the IPR, Legal & Ethical Matters Committee, organized a one-day academic workshop on the occasion of World Intellectual Property Rights Day (2026) in hybrid mode. The workshop focused on exploring the legal framework, enforcement mechanisms, and emerging challenges in the field of Intellectual Property Rights.
The event featured two distinguished resource persons, Dr. Abhishek Kumar Tiwari and Dr. Mayank Baranwal, who delivered insightful lectures on key areas such as patents, copyrights, trademarks, and geographical indications. The sessions highlighted recent legal developments and landmark judicial decisions.
The workshop was highly interactive and encouraged students to engage in discussions on contemporary issues including digital infringement, artificial intelligence, and global IP regulation. The event successfully bridged the gap between theoretical legal knowledge and practical application, making it a valuable academic experience for all participants.
