Model of a Cloverleaf Interchange (Kathipara Junction in Chennai) by a team of students of B. Tech. (Civil Engineering) in Amity School of Engineering & Technology (ASET)

A team of students comprising Abhishek Dharmendra Singh, Amber Fatima, Krishna Sri Tirumal Kandula and Yatendra Singh Rathore from B. Tech. (Civil Engineering) (2014-18) developed a model of Grade Separated Intersection. It is a bridge that eliminates crossing conflicts at intersections by vertical separation of roadways in space. A full clover interchange eliminates all crossing (traffic) movement conflicts using weaving sections. Cloverleaf design requires only one bridge, hence, it is considered the cheapest form to eliminate all crossing maneuvers at grade.
