Amity University Mumbai Conducted Summer Internship Competition

Summer Internship Competition Inauguration

 Amity Business School organised its first summer internship inter college competition. The competition was inaugurated by Honourable Vice Chancellor Dr DS Rao, and Director Amity Business School, AKS Suryavanshi. The competition had participants from ITM Khraghar, IIM Ahmedabad, NITIE Mumbai, ICAFI Mumbai, IBS Mumbai etc. The Students from various institutes presented their projects from Logistics, Finance, Marketing, Production etc. The students presenting the projects have interned with globally well-known brands like Mirae Asset Global Investment, Linhoff, Taj Land Ends, and Fab Hotels etc. The students were judged by the panellist based on their Knowledge, innovation and applicability of the project in the real world. 

 
Ms Shaistha Khan from IIM Ahmedabad secured 1st position for developing her own start up, visual content display and knowledgeable presentation. She was presented with a trophy and a cash price of Rs 5000/-. A special cultural programme organised by theatre and Culture Committee lab of students.
 
The program was concluded by Mr Raghunath Medge, President of Mumbai Dabbawalla Association who gave a special lecture on his journey from starting the business in 1890, achieving a six sigma level (99.99) accuracy for his lunch box delivery business to be honoured by Prince Charles for his hard work and discipline.
