The industrial visit to Metalman Micro Turner Industries was aimed at providing students with practical insights into real-world operations and processes within the industrial sector. It sought to introduce them to the various stages of manufacturing and testing of automotive parts for two-wheelers and four-wheelers, make them aware of the necessary skills required for the industrial sector, and provoke their intellectual curiosity to explore new ways of integrating computer software in manufacturing.
The session, led by Mr. Vinod Kumar, Operations Head, concluded with students gaining a comprehensive understanding of industrial processes, quality control mechanisms, and the practical skills required for a career in the sector. Overall, the event had successfully bridged the gap between theoretical knowledge and industry exposure, leaving students better prepared for professional challenges.
