An educational visit was organized by the Amity School of Languages (ASL), Amity University Haryana, on 27 March 2026 to the Alliance Française de Delhi. The visit was undertaken as part of academic enrichment activities for students of B.A. (Hons. + Research) French, providing them with firsthand exposure to a premier institution promoting French language and culture. It also included participation in a short film festival held during Francophonie Week, offering students insights into diverse Francophone cultures and cinematic expressions.
The primary aim of the visit was to provide experiential learning by immersing students in an authentic Francophone environment beyond the classroom. It sought to enhance their linguistic proficiency, particularly listening and comprehension skills, while promoting cultural awareness, intercultural competence, and appreciation of global perspectives through engagement with French language, art, and cinema.
During the visit, students explored the institute’s facilities and actively engaged with Francophone films, which exposed them to varied cultural narratives and contemporary themes. The experience strengthened their understanding of the French language in real-life contexts and boosted their confidence in communication. Overall, the visit enriched students’ academic learning, cultural sensitivity, and global outlook, making it a highly meaningful and immersive experience.
