“Clay Workshop on Lippan Art"

“Clay Workshop on Lippan Art” was an immersive event organized by the Amity School of Architecture and Planning (ASAP) on 24th April 2026.Inspired by the mindful and environmentally conscious spirit of Earth Day, the event aimed to promote environmental awareness, sensory engagement, conceptual thinking, and appreciation for sustainable artistic practices. It also intended to foster creativity, experimentation, and material understanding among students by integrating technical instruction with artistic freedom in a calm and engaging learning environment.

The Clay Workshop organized as part of Earth Day celebrations aimed to encourage students to reconnect with nature through creative engagement with clay and other natural materials. The workshop sought to provide a hands-on experiential learning platform where students could explore the artistic and sustainable possibilities of sculpting, hand-building, and relief-based wall art while developing technical and creative skills in clay modelling.

The Clay Workshop conducted as part of Earth Day celebrations was successfully organized as an enriching and experiential learning activity that encouraged students to creatively engage with natural and sustainable materials. The workshop provided participants with valuable hands-on exposure to clay sculpting, hand-building techniques, texturing, carving, and relief-based wall art, allowing them to explore artistic expression through tactile and sensory interaction with earth-based materials. Guided by faculty mentors, students actively experimented with forms, textures, and conceptual ideas while developing a deeper understanding of material handling and sculptural techniques.
