Amity College of Nursing organized webinar on essentials of palliative care – An Insight on 16^th August 2021.

The main objective of the webinar was to provide brief the audience about the practical aspects of palliative care and explain the scope of palliative care nursing courses

Dr. Reena, Medical Director, quality management & research , can support  is a expert in palliative care and has undergone National Fellowship Palliative Medicine from IPM, Khozhikode,  Ms. Savita Luka, Head of palliative care services , spoke on the symptoms, management of palliative care patient, counselling and referral services provided to the patient and family members, the various field activities and the volunteers and workers role in patient care in home setting and in hospice. They also explained the outreach activities carried by the can support.

Total 130 students and 12 faculties attended the session.
