Amity Institute of Biotechnology organized guest lecture on Innovation and Intellectual property rights IPR on 21^st September 2021 by Dr. Rahul Taneja, Scientist, HSDST. 
The purpose of this event was to introduce Intellectual Property Rights and its roles.

Dr. Rahul Taneja, Scientist, HSDST, gave an informative talk on the topic “Innovation and IPRs. ”. His speech highlighted the vulnerable status of India in terms of patent applications filed. From the need of IPRs to the exclusively easy steps to file a patent application, todays talk had it all. Dr Rahul Taneja showed us some data and highlighted where our country is lacking.

Total 65 students and 25 faculties attended the session.
