Amity Institute of Clinical Psychology (AICP), Amity University Haryana, Gurgaon  organized one day Mental Health promotional program under the guidance of Dr. Vikas Sharma   on 13^th September 2019 at Citizen Hospital, Gurgaon.  Dr. Vikas Sharma and Dr. Mehfooz Ahmed, the faculties of AICP along with M. Phil Clinical Psychology trainees participated in the program. Dr. Mehfooz Ahmed was the coordinator of the program. The programme sensitized the participants about the suicide in different strata of society i.e. jobless youngsters, farmers, psychiatric and medical patients. The programme also highlighted the strategies to prevent suicide in the community e.g. not to leave the patient alone, teaching problem solving skills, consulting the mental health professionals.  The programme emphasized the role of  practical and service oriented aspects in community.
