Amity Institute of Clinical Psychology (AICP), Amity University Haryana, Gurgaon  organized one day Mental Health promotional program on 11^th October 2019 at Citizen Hospital, Gurgaon as a part of World Mental Week celebration under the guidance of Dr. Vikas Sharma, Head, AICP.     Dr. Mustafa Nadeem Kirmani and Dr. Mehfooz Ahmed, the faculties of AICP along with M. Phil Clinical Psychology trainees participated in the program. Dr. Mehfooz Ahmed was the coordinator of the program. The programme sensitized the participants about the need to know Mental Health issues in the different strata of society. The programme also highlighted the strategies for early identification and prevention of illness in the community. The programme emphasized the role of happiness and the strategies to transmit happiness in the community. Moreover, the role of indigenous approaches like forgiveness and the gratitude was also discussed in promoting community mental health.
