Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Amity University Haryana organized an invited talk on “Innovation” on 28^th January 2022 and it was graced by the presence of an expert Professor Brian Norton, Head of Energy Research & Research Professor, Tyndall National Institute TU Dublin. He contributed a lot in the area of Solar Energy Applications through projects, society outreach programmes, consultancy and other social development platforms.

The key note speaker Prof. Brian Norton, Head of Energy Research & Research Professor at University College Cork and Professor of Solar Energy Applications at TU Dublin stressed upon the true meaning of solar energy applications in the area of crop drying and elaborated different types of crop dryers. He emphasized on the fact how nutritive value of the crop and food materials can be saved with solar drying.
