Amity Institute of Pharmacy organised webinar on “Refreshing the Knowledge on Journey of Drug Discovery and Development in the Hunt of Anti-infective Agents” on 6th April 2021.

 Dr. Tejas Dhameli ya ,Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceuti cal Chemistry, L.M.C.P. College, Ahmedabad, Gujratgave a lecture on topic „Refreshing the Knowledge on Journey of Drug Discovery and Development in the Hunt of Anti-infective Agents? where he touched upon the basics of drug discovery and development, various software utilized for this purpose, how to develop pharmacophore of any selected class of chemical compounds, Toxicity profile of chemical compounds and how to predict the drug likeness of any compound. He also explained his research on COVID-19 where he has shown the in-silico data of the genomic feature of virus and it?s disease virulence.
