This talk was organised so that students could interact with a person who not only educates them how to organize a research paper but also give them motivation for conduct of good research during their PhD degree.Prof. Shatendra K. Sharma explained in detail about the main components of a research paper. He discussed about the content which should be included in the different bodies of a research article. He gave his insights about the overall contents of a paper. Like, what an abstract should be included. Similarly, what content is needed in the introduction part and how to conclude the paper? How to cite the references in a research article etc. He also discussed the difference between a review article and a simple research article. The talk was not only educational for students but motivational as well.
