Amity Business School organized a workshop on "Change or Perish" on 7th June 2023. The workshop aimed to enlighten and guide working professionals enrolled under the Employee Workforce Program (EWP) offered at ABS, AUH, about the importance and approach behind Change Management. It aimed to facilitate a smooth transition and adaptation to proposed changes within their respective organizations.
The workshop was led by Dr. Monica Kapuria, an esteemed Associate Professor, who delved into the topic of Change or Perish. Recognizing the evolving dynamics of the environment, Dr. Kapuria discussed the concept of change, its significance, and the process involved. The case study of Nokia was examined to provide valuable insights into the consequences of resisting change.
During the session, the students actively shared their own experiences within their organizations, recounting instances where they initiated change processes and how they effectively managed the challenges to achieve their desired objectives. This interactive exchange allowed participants to learn from one another and gain a deeper understanding of real-world change management scenarios.
A total of 12 students and 3 faculty members enthusiastically attended the workshop. Their presence highlighted their commitment to personal and professional growth, as well as their dedication to enhancing their knowledge and skills in change management.
