Amity Business School, Amity University Gurugram organized a seminar on Social Entrepreneurship on the theme “New Hope For Better World”, on 18th November, 2023. The event aimed to educate, inspire, and empower participants by delving into the principles and practices of social entrepreneurship. The event was coordinated by Dr. Supriti Agarwal.
The seminar on social entrepreneurship served as a knowledge-sharing platform, bringing together experts, entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts to explore innovative ways of addressing societal challenges through sustainable business models. Mr. Divya Prakash and Mrs. Meenakshi, Co-Founder of Donate an Hour, were present as the expert speakers for the event. They focused on the potential of social entrepreneurship to drive positive change, along with emphasizing on the importance of innovative business models that balance social and environmental impact with profits. Moreover. The speakers encouraged individuals to use their entrepreneurial spirit to tackle pressing societal issues. A total of 133 students and 4 faculty members participated in the event.
