A Faculty Development Program by ASFA from June 6 to 12, 2024
Amity School of Fine Arts (ASFA) organized a Faculty Development Program on "Artistic Sustainability: Fostering Environmental Advocacy with Tetra Pack Intaglio Techniques" from June 6 to 12, 2024. The main objective of this program was to educate participants about the environmental impact of Tetra Pack waste and explore sustainable artistic practices.
The Faculty Development Programme aimed to educate participants about the environmental impact of Tetra Pack waste, explore innovative strategies for waste reduction and upcycling, and highlight the potential of Tetra Pack materials as sustainable art mediums. It provided training in intaglio printmaking techniques using Tetra Pack, emphasizing ethical sourcing and waste minimization, and encouraged interdisciplinary collaboration to integrate environmental awareness in sustainability education.
In conclusion, the attendees gained insights into the environmental impact of Tetra Pack waste, learned innovative upcycling strategies, and acquired practical skills in Tetra Pack intaglio printmaking. The program promoted ethical material usage, waste minimization, and interdisciplinary collaboration, fostering a holistic approach to sustainability education.
